Associate Professor of Physiology
University of Padova
Dr. Elisa Greggio is Associate Professor in Physiology at the University of Padova. Her laboratory is interested in studying the molecular mechanisms underlying the early events of aging, in particular those associated with neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson disease. She combines cellular and animal models of genetic forms of disease to investigate the impact of gain and loss of function mutations on neuronal and glial cell homeostasis.
