Faraz Faghri is a researcher working on Augmented Intelligence in Healthcare with a special focus on healthy aging and neurological disorders including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and ALS. Currently, he is a consultant at the National Institutes of Health on big data, machine learning, and AI. He is also a Technology-based Healthcare Fellow at the Mayo Clinic and a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his B.S. in Applied Mathematics and M.S. in Industrial Engineering working on large-scale computing systems and networks. His work has been recognized with numerous academic awards and has been transferred to NIH, Yahoo!, Neustar, Akamai, Illumina, and Microsoft.
